QT TIN TOP TITLES TO

FEATURE PRO TURBO & STREET 289

This Saturday, April 28th at Willowbank Raceway in Queensland will see a sedan only battle not to be missed, the Queensland Times Tin Top Titles. Almost a quarter of the 200 plus field will be contesting the Top Doorslammer, Pro Stock, Pro Turbo and Pro Street Outlaws brackets which gives the event a real sense of occasion.

“The QT Tin Top Titles is steeped in tradition and after a fairly quiet period since our January Top Fuel show we’ll be cranking things up and ensuring a real party atmosphere this Saturday,” said Willowbank Raceway General Manager Steve Bettes.

The Pro Turbo and Street 289 Brackets at the QT TTT will feature both of the Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series National Recorders with Joe Signorelli in Pro Turbo and Damien McKern in Street 289.
“Coupled with the more traditional Super Stock, Super Sedan, Super Street and Super Gas competitors on one huge program, makes the QT Tin Top Titles a must for all racing fans.”

In essence the format of the QT Tin Top Titles will see the realisation of drag racing activities inclusive of the vastly popular Fast Fours Jamboree and Powercruise scenes which have continually attracted massive interest among drag racing fans.

The QT Tin Top Titles will ensure a packed day and night of drag racing action which kicks off with qualifying from 8am this Saturday.

Feature qualifying is set down for 10.15am, 12.30pm and 2.45pm before Willowbank Raceway shapes up to eliminations from 6.10pm. For more details checkout www.willowbank-raceway.com.au

ITS A BOY!

A big congratulations goes out to the Rehayem family on the earlier than expected birth of young Christian Rehayem on April 14th. Proud parents George & Billie Rehayem weren't expecting the birth for another 2 weeks but Christian had other ideas. The expected arrival date was the same weekend as the QT Tin Top Titles which as you can imagine excluded the Pac Performance team from competing. The early birth didn't help matters as entries had already closed for the event. The team now has the Snap-On Nitro Champs in it's sights in the lead up to Toyo Tyres Compak Attak as Round 4 of the Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series on May 19th at WSID.
