DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SPORT COMPACT ANNOUNCER?

The Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series is on the lookout for additional announcers. Do you think you have what it takes to get on the microphone and commentate a Sport Compact race meeting? If so, we'd like to talk to you. For Sydney siders we'll be holding live auditions during the Toyo Tyres Compak Attak.

Each applicant selected, will have the opportunity to be on the mic during the Toyo Tyres Compak Attak with one of our long time commentators, Craig "The Ice Man" Roberts and we'll see if you have what it takes.

The successful applicants will require a thorough understanding of drag racing in general, how the timing systems work, a good knowledge of Sport Compact Classes here and in the USA, some knowledge of Australian Sport Compact Racers and general history, some knowledge of the USA Sport Compact scene. Previous mic experience would be an advantage but not essential.
