BRAVE HEARTS HIGHWAY THUNDER
After 3 convoys, Bravehearts is aiming for HIGHWAY THUNDER 2008 to be the biggest and best yet. Everyone in the community is invited to join in this convoy to gain awareness of child sexual assault,to show victims that we support them, and to show paedophiles that we will not tolerate their actions.
Bravehearts aims to forge a ‘movement for change’ in how paedophilia is dealt with by the criminal justice sector, government and the community at large and to provide survivors with a voice. Advocating for both healing and preventative strategies, Bravehearts provides comprehensive counselling for child and adult survivors of child sexual assault, and is actively involved in education, prevention, early intervention and research programs.
The Bravehearts team will be at the Castrol EDGE Jamboree promoting the HIGH THUNDER and their movement for change. We encourage the Sport Compact community to get involved and support this worthy cause. Click HERE for more details and to download an entry form for the 2008 Bravehearts HIGHWAY THUNDER. At the end of the cruise there will also be a People's Choice Show & Shine prize up for grabs. For more details about the great work Bravehearts does, click on their logo to go to their website.

ROUND 3 MAKENIZE'S MOTOR TRIMMING COMPAK ATTAK
ON FOX 1 TOMORROW
This Tuesday (August 20) will see the Mackenzie's Motor Trimming Compak Attak, Round 3 of the Toyo Tires Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series, hit the air ways on pay TV's Fox 1. The 1-hour program is scheduled for 10pm this Tuesday and will showcase the May 18th Round 3 event from Western Sydney International Dragway.
A huge entry list saw a great range of local racers as well as plenty of interstate travelers ready to battle it out on the black top. Even though the event came to a premature end in the quarter finals due to falling track temperatures there was plenty of wheels up, tyre shaking and smoking action throughout the day.
We had hoped to have the program shown on free to air TV before this, but due to the Olympics coverage we won't see that until September 21st at 1pm on the SBS Speed Week program.
