Rd 4 - August 23/24, 2008 - Castrol EDGE Jamboree

Hi and welcome to Round 4, the Grand Final of the Toyo Tires Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series.

The Castrol EDGE Jamboree hits Willowbank Raceway in QLD on August 23-24 in it's 18th year, for Australia's Biggest Sport Compact Drag Racing event. The Castrol EDGE Jamboree's Off Track support program is set to explode this year with the Show-N-Shine, Dyno Comp, Sound Display, Club Displays, Babes on Stage, Traders and much more, it’ll be an event not too miss.

With the Castrol EDGE Jamboreebeing the Grand Final, of the Toyo Tires Sport Compact Group Drag Racing Series, the gloves will be off in a battle to secure championship points with 9 of the 11 Class Championships yet to be decided. Points won’t be the only thing on racers minds with National Records set for a beating.

The Castrol EDGE Jamboree will be a non-stop action packed weekend not to be missed. Race debuting at the event is the Garrett, Castrol EDGE, Turbosmart sponsored Mazda 6 of Pac Performance, stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
